Alcatraz Wasp Trap

This disposable plastic wasp trap includes specially formulated liquid bait. The trap is activated by cutting the tip off the bait sachet, pushing the remainder of the sachet back into the trap, and allowing the bait to pool inside the trap. Wasps are attracted into the trap through access holes and become stuck to the inside surfaces of the trap. Ideal for use on patios and other wasp infested areas.

Apple Maggot Trap Kit

Are re-usable plastic trap used in orchards for detection of Apple Maggot. The two halves of the trap snap together and non-drying glue is brushed onto the surface of the ball. The trap is hung using an extended eyelet screwed into the top. The Red Ball trap attracts sexually mature female flies looking for a place deposit her eggs. The addition of an Apple Essence Lure enhances trap effectiveness.

Cluster Fly Trap

This trap is a recently patented Canadian invention that can attract and immobilize up to 1000 Cluster Flies. The trap contains a very finely ground powder made of eggshells, which acts like quicksand to smother the flies. This plastic trap, made of recycled materials, is placed on the inside of a windowpane where flies congregate and can be disposed of in the household garbage at the end of the season.

Dome Trap

When used with the specifically formulated liquid bait, this is an extremely effective trap for fruitflies, late season wasps and other flying insects. This re-useable trap is made of rigid plastic, twists apart for easy access and cleaning and is fitted with a stainless steel wire loop hanger. Liquid bait is poured into the reservoir in the trap base.

Liquid Bait

A specially formulated liquid bait made of pure fruit base, pH stabilized, and containing a pheromone suitable for many fly species. For use in Dome Traps, Omni Traps and Mini Traps.

Mini Trap

A small plastic container-type trap with a perforated funnel leading into the base and a movable lid which allows insects into the trap when up and which closes the trap when pushed down. Will catch fruitflies, wasps and flies when used with liquid bait

Yellow AM Trap

A very effective card trap for use in monitoring and catching apple maggot flies and blueberry maggot flies. Trap folds open to expose glue-coated surfaces with a total glue-coated catchment area of 360 sq.cm.

Yellow or Blue Traps

Yellow traps are frequently used for whitefly control in greenhouses and plantscapes, but also attract thrips, gnats, leaf miners, aphids and some smaller flies. These traps consist of thin yellow plastic sheets coated on both sides with a special ‘dry-touch’ adhesive. For best results, suspend the traps just above the crop early in the season and replace with new traps after 6-8 weeks, or once they are coated with insects. The Blue traps are similar in size and construction, but are used primarily for attracting thrips.
