About Us

For the past 28 years

For the past 28 years, the company has developed a well-established network of sales and distribution across Canada and around the world.

Cooper Mill Ltd. conducts on-going field testing of new products, prior to marketing them. In 1986, Cooper Mill Ltd became the first company in Canada to set up commercial-scale trials involving pheromone mating disruption. This work was carried out against the Grape Berry Moth, and by 1992 resulted in the first Canadian government registration approval for the use of a pheromone mating disruption system. Commercial use of this method is now well established in many Niagara vineyards.

Since it was already well established as a supplier of insecticides at the time, Cooper Mill Ltd. began introducing pheromone monitoring systems into the professional Pest Control industry.

Cooper Mill Ltd. has now accumulated many years of commercial experience with different pheromone-related products which, when combined with many years of commercial pesticide experience, makes Cooper Mill Ltd one of the industry leaders in the field of Integrated Pest Management.

Cooper Mill Ltd. has an enviable reputation for fast and reliable supply of products across Canada and around the world.

Introduction to Pheromones

It is very important

to detect the presence of insect pests as early as possible, since this allows for control measures to be taken at precisely the right moment. Pheromone monitoring is a valuable tool for early detection:

  1. It helps us identify the type of pest, when it is present and where it is present.
  2. It enables us to establish thresholds as to whether further control is necessary.
  3. It gives an accurate indicator of when spray applications should be made.
  4. It confirms the success of treatments.

Cooper Mill Ltd. Is committed to providing well-tested and up-to-date technology and equipment to help end-users achieve the best possible results in their pest management programs. We encourage you to call us if you have specific monitoring challenges and we will do our best to help you resolve them.
